Most of the properties are anywhere from one hour to two and a half hours from Hermosillo where our hunters fly into by commercial airline. We will pick up the hunter at the airport and go to the ranch to hunt.
The mule deer hunts include six day of hunting. Included is one on one guide, transportation to and in hunting area, meals and trophy preparation for transportation. Lodging is in a comfortable ranch house with hot water, bathroom and beds.
The size of the mule deer bucks taken each year ranges from 180 to 230 points.
The success of
the hunt generally runs about 70%. Our success rate our Bucks are as good as anyone in Sonora. We harvest many bucks each year that are 30 inches or wider.
Prices for the hunts vary a little from one property to another. Right now I have two mule deer hunts still available for the last week of December or the first week of January and the cost is $6000 for the hunt plus $1000 trophy fee if you harvest a deer. This ranch also has numerous coues deer and one can be harvested for an additional fee if the hunter chooses.
